A MORE DETAILED GUIDE TO CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY:
Our jewelry is made of stainless steel and designed to be worn for everyday use. However, jewelry may experience discoloration over time due to multiple factors, including exposure to moisture and chemicals. Gold-plated metals are delicate; despite our best efforts to provide you with the highest quality, they can still fade due to a process called tarnish.
This care guide will help you maintain your jewelry to ensure its longevity.
Stainless steel jewelry is durable, corrosion-resistant, and low-maintenance. However, proper care can keep it shiny and in excellent condition for longer. Follow these tips:
1. Regular cleaning
- Clean your jewelry after wearing it to remove any sweat, creams, or perfume residue.
- For a deeper clean, use warm water with a few drops of mild soap.
- Scrub gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush and rinse well.
- Dry them completely with a soft cloth to avoid water spots.
2. Proper Storage
- Store your jewelry in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Use cloth bags or lined boxes to avoid scratches.
- Avoid storing them with other metals to prevent friction.
3. Avoid Chemical Substances
- Although our jewelry is water resistant, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, or exercising.
- Allow perfume, lotions, and creams to absorb into your skin before putting on jewelry.
- Remove jewelry before using chemicals such as cleaners, bleach, or perfumes.
- Do not wear your jewelry during activities such as swimming in pools or salt water.
4. Avoid Bumps and Scratches
- Remove your jewelry when doing strenuous physical activity or crafts.
- Handle your jewelry carefully to avoid damage.
5. Occasional Polishing
- If your jewelry loses some of its shine, you can polish it with a special stainless steel cloth that is included with your purchase.
- Do not use abrasive products that may scratch the surface.
6. Periodic Review
- If your jewelry has stones or details, it is not recommended that you use them for daily use. Check that the stones are securely fastened.
Additional Tips
- If you live in a humid area, consider using desiccants in your storage area to prevent moisture.
- Clean jewelry after wearing it in hot weather or during exercise.
With these precautions, your stainless steel jewelry will stay looking new for a long time.
How to wash your accessories:
Soak the jewelry in a small bowl, combining warm water with a few drops of mild soap. Add the soap to the water to create a lather. Add the jewelry and let it soak for about 5 to 10 minutes, then use a soft-bristled brush to gently brush away dirt.
After rinsing your jewelry, dry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth and polish the surface of your accessories to bring out their shine.
